Throughout 2024, Concert Golf Partners strengthened its long-standing commitment to preserving and enhancing its portfolio of premier private golf and country clubs nationwide. This was achieved during a milestone year of member-oriented investment and targeted strategic growth.
Concert’s mission was advanced this year with a focus on improving our facilities, service levels, and the overall member experience, while building and maintaining a thriving club environment. In the past year, Concert Golf expanded its portfolio by adding four new clubs, bringing its total to six new additions in just over a year. The company now manages 36 exceptional private clubs, each designed to provide distinctive and memorable experiences for members, their families, and guests.
Among the preeminent clubs added to Concert’s portfolio:
- The Club at Pasadera – Monterey, California
- TPC Jasna Polana – Princeton, New Jersey
- Golf Club of the Everglades – Naples, Florida
- The Georgia Club – Near Athens, Georgia
- Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club – Near Houston
- Northgate Country Club – Near Houston
“We’re delighted to have welcomed the members and staff of several outstanding clubs to our family of private clubs in 2024,” said Concert Golf COO, Susan Dunnavant. “We take great pride in regularly investing in our clubs, without levying assessments, so that our memberships thrive, which elevates the value and prestige of the surrounding community.”
Concert Golf Partners was selected by the Piasecka Johnson Family—heirs to the Johnson & Johnson legacy—from among 20 competitive bidders to purchase the storied TPC Jasna Polana club. The family cited Concert’s vision for the Gary Player-designed golf course and its iconic clubhouse, which alleviated their concerns of new housing development on an historic American legacy property.
“Concert Golf clearly demonstrated a strong commitment to preserving the storied traditions and history of Jasna Polana,” said Christopher Piasecki, President of Jasna Polana. “Their vision aligns with our dedication to providing an exceptional experience for our members, ensuring that Jasna Polana continues its legacy and thrives for generations to come.”
Investing for the Future
Significant investments in clubs throughout the Concert Golf portfolio were announced or initiated in 2024. In addition to greatly improving its clubhouse with a $3 million investment, Heathrow Legacy Country Club became the first private club in Central Florida to offer Top Tracer Range. The Club at Renaissance announced a multi-million dollar clubhouse improvement project in 2025, while The Club at Pasadera launched the first phase of $2 million planned infrastructure improvements to its roof, irrigation, cart paths, and more.
“We knew we needed an upscale, private club hospitality firm that invested for the long-term,” said Pasadera Managing Member, Chris Laver. “Concert Golf Partners is a breath of fresh air.”
At MacGregor Downs Country Club near Raleigh, additional multi-million dollar renovations to the clubhouse and pool area were completed. Meanwhile, new indoor simulators and member friendly apps for reservations were among the state-of-the-art offerings implemented at several Concert Golf clubs nationwide.
Among the traditions preserved by Concert include its most recent addition, The Georgia Club, which regularly presents a unique farm-to-table dining option for members and guests. Meanwhile, Northgate Country Club furthered its long-standing commitment to philanthropy during its annual “Golfers Against Cancer” charity fundraiser.
“It is obvious that Concert Golf is committed to preserving and enhancing the culture that I worked hard to create at the clubs,” said retired Walden at Lake Conroe Golf Club and Northgate Country Club Owner, Dan McIntyre.
In October, West Lake Country Club in Augusta, Ga., endured the brunt of Hurricane Helene—which caused over 1,100 trees to fall. Despite the storm’s fury, nine holes were reopened in just two weeks, and all 18 holes a few weeks later, as the West Lake staff worked tirelessly to restore the golf course for their members, despite the adverse conditions.
The magazine cited in its November/December issue Concert’s growing influence and strategic growth plan: “Concert focuses on capital investments in its clubs, just as much as it does on acquisitions. Nanula has always championed the idea of preserving the identity and traditions of historical clubs around the country.”
Golf Inc. Honors Nanula
Golf Inc. magazine ranked Concert Golf Partners CEO Peter Nanula No. 9 on its “Most Powerful People in Golf” list for 2024.
The magazine cited in its November/December issue Concert’s growing influence and strategic growth plan: “Concert focuses on capital investments in its clubs, just as much as it does on acquisitions. Nanula has always championed the idea of preserving the identity and traditions of historical clubs around the country.”
A regular on Golf Inc.’s list, this is the second consecutive year Nanula was ranked among the Top 10 (No. 10 in 2023). Since co-founding the company with Dunnavant in 2011, Concert’s central mission has emulated its values.
“This is a true reflection of Concert Golf’s impressive and growing team,” said Nanula. “We pride ourselves on doing things the right way, making repeated capital investments in our portfolio of clubs, and building a boutique network of top-notch clubs that our members can enjoy across America.”
Exciting new announcements are pending and anticipated in 2025.
