What is WTGL?
WTGL (Women's Team Golf League) is an indoor, tech-driven women's team golf league created by TMRW Sports in partnership with the LPGA. Five teams of LPGA Tour stars face off in fast-paced, head-to-head match play inside the custom-built SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
It is the women's counterpart to the men's TGL, also run by TMRW Sports, with Alex Morgan's Trybe Ventures as lead capital partner. The inaugural season opens Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026 on ESPN and matches air on ESPN, ESPN2, ABC and ION.

The deepest five on paper. Atlanta pulled three major champions into one lineup and left itself no obvious weak link, which matters in a format where only three of the five play any given match.
Boston Common Golf
Fenway Sports Group's second golf franchise — it already owns the men's TGL team of the same name. Boston built around two established winners and then bet hard on youth.
Los Angeles Golf Club
The most interesting roster of the five. Alexis Ohanian has been the loudest investor in women's sport for a decade, and LA's lineup reads like it was built for crossover attention as much as for match play.
Motor City Golf Club
Raw firepower. Detroit's top three can go shot for shot with anyone in the league, and the team gets Lexi Thompson back into a competitive setting she can actually commit to.
New York Golf Club
Steve Cohen went star hunting, and it shows. New York carries the league's only LPGA Hall of Famer plus two of the most marketable young Americans in the sport.

How WTGL Works
- 1Five teams play a round-robin regular season — four matches each — with the top four advancing to single-match semifinals and a best-of-three Finals.
- 2Rosters are five deep, but only three players from each team compete in a given match — putting a premium on lineup strategy.
- 3Play is indoors in a mixed-reality arena: players hit into a giant simulator screen, then finish holes on a physical green that rotates and re-contours.
- 4It borrows the men's TGL innovations — mic'd-up players, a shot clock, and the risk-reward 'Hammer' that raises the stakes mid-match.
- 5Hole distances and design elements were informed by LPGA performance data, and matches are built to run about two hours start to finish.

Blank's AMB Sports and Entertainment, Boston Common Golf by Fenway Sports Group, Los Angeles Golf Club by Alexis Ohanian, Motor City Golf Club by Michael Hamp, Peter Hamp and Kevin Kelleher, and New York Golf Club by Steve Cohen's Cohen Private Ventures. Each group also owns a TGL team.
How is WTGL different from TGL?
TGL is the men's tech-golf league featuring PGA Tour players. WTGL is its women's counterpart, featuring LPGA stars, and plays in the same SoFi Center arena. Both are operated by TMRW Sports.
