Born Kevin Howard Tway on July 23, 1988, in Edmond, Oklahoma. He is the son of Bob Tway, an eight-time PGA Tour winner and 1986 PGA Championship victor. Kevin attended Oklahoma State University, where he was a three-time All-American (2009-2011).

Professional Career
Turned professional in 2011 and earned his PGA Tour card through Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) in 2013.

Secured his first PGA Tour victory at the 2018 Safeway Open, winning in a three-way playoff against Ryan Moore and Brandt Snedeker.
