Brendon Todd was born on July 22, 1985, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Georgia, where he played collegiate golf from 2004 to 2007 and was a member of their 2005 NCAA Division I Championship team.

Professional Career
Todd turned professional in 2007 and earned his first PGA Tour card in 2009. His breakthrough came in 2014 with his first PGA Tour victory at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
