Live morning programming returns to GOLF Channel in 2025, headlined by long-time GOLF Channel personality Gary Williams hosting 5 Clubs on GOLF Channel, which will air Monday-Wednesday at 8 a.m. ET and debuts Monday, January 6.
Williams will be joined by a variety of analysts and guests, as well as contributors of the 5 Clubs team, including former PGA TOUR players and analysts Johnson Wagner and Brendan De Jonge, Emmy-nominated broadcaster and golf enthusiast Jay Bilas, renowned golf architect Gil Hanse, broadcaster and former collegiate golfer Emma Carpenter, and SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio’s Taylor Zarzour to talk about the topics that matter most to golf fans. Fairways of Life with Matt Adams will follow 5 Clubs on GOLF Channel on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. ET. Additional details regarding GOLF Channel’s morning programming in 2025 will be announced in the coming weeks.
“As a consumer of sports radio and television and for more than 20 years, and as a host of shows originating in the morning, I have immense appreciation for being in a position to initiate and drive the daily conversation in the game of golf,” said Williams. “We aspire to make 5 Clubs on GOLF Channel the golf industry’s morning show. The way to achieve that is by having a wide lens on the interests of everyone who invests time into the game of golf. The daily pursuit of that objective is supremely motivating to me.”
“GOLF Channel drives the daily conversation within the game of golf and we’re proud to start that conversation in the mornings in 2025 with 5 Clubs on GOLF Channel,” said Tom Knapp, EVP, Golf, NBC Sports. “Gary has been one of the smartest voices and minds in golf for a long time and he and the 5 Clubs team have an impressive, influential following, which will set the tone for GOLF Channel’s expanded live morning programming and discuss everything in and around the game and business of golf.”
“We have worked diligently to build the 5 Clubs brand and platform for opportunities like this, so it goes without saying we are both appreciative and excited to partner with GOLF Channel on this new venture,” said Steve Hall, President & CEO of Signature Sports Group & 5 Clubs. “5 Clubs will work to shine the light on not only the stars in the game but the people who inspire, motivate and encourage those who want to make golf a part of their lives. There’s nobody better to lead and direct that mission than Gary.”
