The PGA TOUR unveiled its new 165,000-square-foot PGA TOUR Studios facility in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida on January 1, 2025. This landmark development, which has been in development since 2017, represents a significant advancement in golf content production and distribution.

Facility Overview and Capabilities

The new production center features cutting-edge technology for content creation and broadcast operations. The facility includes:

  • Eight production rooms
  • Eight audio control rooms
  • Seven LED-outfitted studios
  • 270-degree LED display in Studio 1A
  • Capability to monitor up to 144 cameras or live feeds
  • Custom-built video review center
  • 34-seat theater for content screening
  • Studio-specific podcast booths
  • Future home of PGA TOUR Radio (coming 2026)

Content Library and Production Scale

PGA TOUR Studios houses an extensive golf content archive featuring:

  • Over 170,000 videos
  • 223,000 hours of content
  • Historical footage dating back to 1920
  • Production capabilities for PGA TOUR Champions and Korn Ferry Tour
  • Over 5,000 hours of PGA TOUR LIVE content for ESPN+

International Broadcasting Initiative

The facility will introduce a new World Feed service that includes:

  • Customized graphics package for international viewers
  • Dedicated cameras focused on international golfers
  • Weekly on-site reporters
  • Six dedicated cameras at select FedExCup events
  • Plans for country-specific feeds with native language coverage

The facility demonstrates environmental consciousness through:

  • LEED BD+C Gold certification
  • Sustainable design and operation

PGA TOUR Studios marks a significant investment in the future of golf content production and distribution. The facility will begin operations with the 2025 FedExCup Season opening at The Sentry, featuring Tiger Woods in the first original content produced from Studio 1A.
