LPGA 2024 Tournament Lineup Announced
The LPGA Tour is set for a groundbreaking year in 2024, showcasing 33 official events, representing an unprecedented prize fund in women’s golf. The total purse now stands at a staggering $118 million, a significant increase that players and fans alike are eager to witness.
Compared to the previous year, 2024 will see a substantial growth in high-stake events. Specifically, ten tournaments will now offer purses of $3 million or more, tripling the number from 2023.
Season Opener and International Ventures
The season begins in the Sunshine State, with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions (Jan. 18-21) and the LPGA Drive On Championship (Jan. 25-28), both scheduled in Florida. Following that, the Tour heads overseas for three weeks, bringing global flair to early competitions.
Notably, the FM Global Championship (Aug. 29-Sept. 1) has been added in Boston and will serve as the lead-up to the much-anticipated Solheim Cup.
