Tiger Woods returns as the face of PGA TOUR 2K25’s Legend Edition, with Max Homa and Matt Fitzpatrick joining him on the standard and deluxe editions, PGA TOUR 2K announced Monday. This marks Woods’ second consecutive appearance on the franchise’s cover following PGA TOUR 2K23.

The 82-time PGA TOUR winner maintains his prominent position in golf gaming, having previously headlined EA Sports’ golf series from 1999 to 2013. Woods’ selection aligns with his TGL simulator golf league involvement, where he partners with cover co-star Max Homa on Jupiter Links Golf Club.

Homa brings six PGA TOUR victories to the cover. His credentials include U.S. team appearances in the 2023 Ryder Cup and the 2022 and 2024 Presidents Cup teams. Responding to the announcement on social media, Homa referenced his TGL connection with Woods, posting “Looking good. What about his TGL teammate?” before his own cover reveal.

Matt Fitzpatrick, who celebrated the announcement noting “Team Europe should have some representation this year,” adds international acclaim with two PGA TOUR wins, including the 2022 U.S. Open, and eight international victories. The English golfer’s resume features three Ryder Cup appearances (2016, 2020, 2023) and Olympic competition in 2024.

PGA TOUR 2K25 continues the franchise’s development from its 2014 origins as “The Golf Club.” Players can design courses, create characters, compete as PGA TOUR and LPGA professionals, and participate in career and online multiplayer modes.

Additional game details, including the release date and complete player roster, will be announced January 14. The current edition features prominent players including world No. 1 Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler, and Collin Morikawa.
