Netflix’s Full Swing Season 3 Returns February 25th, Details, Full Cast

Netflix’s hit golf docuseries Full Swing returns for its third season on February 25, 2025, expanding its roster to 21 players and introducing compelling storylines from the 2024 golf season.

The series will highlight Scottie Scheffler’s dominant 2024 campaign, which saw him secure seven PGA Tour victories and an Olympic gold medal. Viewers will get an inside look at how Scheffler maintained his performance throughout this historic run.

A significant addition to Season 3 is the coverage of siblings Min Woo Lee and Minjee Lee as they attempt to become the first brother-sister duo to represent their country in Olympic golf. Their story adds an international dimension to the series, which has already gained global popularity since its 2023 debut.

The player roster includes established stars and emerging talents:

  • Bryson DeChambeau’s evolution from controversial figure to fan favorite
  • Keegan Bradley’s journey following his Ryder Cup disappointment
  • Wyndham Clark’s business venture with Mark Wahlberg
  • Sahith Theegala facing a career-defining financial decision
  • Gary Woodland’s return to professional golf after battling a brain tumor
  • Camilo Villegas stepping into leadership as assistant captain for the International Team

Other featured players include Ludvig Aberg, Joel Dahmen, Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler, Adam Hadwin, Shane Lowry, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Neal Shipley, Nick Taylor, and Justin Thomas.

Production began early, with cameras rolling at the WM Phoenix Open in February 2024. The series maintains its partnership between Netflix and the PGA Tour, with executive producers Chad Mumm and Mark W. Olsen from Vox Media Studios, alongside Paul Martin, James Gay-Rees, and Warren Smith from Box to Box Films.

Brandon Riegg, Netflix’s Vice President of Unscripted and Documentary Series, noted the show’s success in attracting both core golf fans and new audiences worldwide. This success led to a crossover event with Formula 1: Drive to Survive called “The Netflix Cup” in November 2023.

Season 3’s renewal announcement came in September 2024, though filming was already underway, demonstrating Netflix’s confidence in the series. The February 2025 premiere date follows the established pattern of previous seasons, which debuted in February 2023 and March 2024.

The upcoming season features several key storylines:

  • Rory McIlroy navigating the pressures of elite competition
  • Bradley’s quest for redemption after his previous season
  • Clark’s efforts to build his personal brand
  • Woodland’s inspiring comeback story
  • Villegas balancing team leadership with personal challenges

Producer Chad Mumm revealed in a March 2024 interview with Golf Monthly that filming began before official season confirmation, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the year’s pivotal moments in professional golf.

The series continues its focus on behind-the-scenes access, documenting both the athletic achievements and personal journeys of professional golfers. This combination of sports action and personal narratives has helped Full Swing maintain its appeal to diverse audiences while providing authentic insights into professional golf.

Full Swing has aired 16 episodes across its first two seasons, establishing itself as a premier sports documentary series. Season 3 builds on this foundation by expanding its player coverage and delving deeper into the evolving landscape of professional golf.
